Harlin (pop. 550) is a small village on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail about halfway between Toogoolawah and Moore. There is a service station, the Harlin Roadhouse (with adjacent traveller’s café) and the Harlin Hotel (motel and pub). The pub only serves food at weekends.

Located on the Brisbane Valley Highway, Harlin provides a useful access point for rail trail visitors wishing to do just 15 km on the rail trail to Toogoolawah or Moore. There is a car park, free overnight camping and public toilets.

The Heritage listed Yimbun tunnel is nearby.
