H.H. Herman and other residents of Glamorgan Vale (and Pine Mt) and Fairneyview had asked for closets for women esp. at Fairney View. It was decided 10.4.08 to erect closet and urinal (men’s) at cost £9, completed 17 June 1908.

Somerset MLA (30.6.09  )wrote to QGR  that waiting shed had no floor, either bog or dust. It was used for cream  cans, fruit cases, potatoes and lady getting ticket tore her dress.
