We're keen to try the newly opened Frohlies Grill in Yarraman for dinner, combined with a night ride in the northern section of the rail trail. Frohlies is a family run, paddock to plate, catering businesss, famous for the quality of their meat. Ride out with us from Blackbutt in the late afternoon for dinner at the Grill (not included in the ticket price), then ride back at night. It will be a blast.

Tips for the Night Ride Return

Riding the BVRT at night is a completely different experience—weather permitting, the stars can be incredible out there, but you’ll need a good-quality off-road light (at least 800 lumens) to spot the cattle and the occasional rough patches and grids. A secondary headlamp is also helpful for looking "into" the corners.

The trail is mostly moderate with a few challenging gullies.

Participation in this event is entirely at your own risk. We recommend membership of an organisation such as Bicycle Queensland that includes public liability and accident insurance or having your own accident and public liability insurance.
