Bicycle Queensland

Join Bicycle Queensland's 1-day ride along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail from Toogoolawah to Fernvale. This largely undiscovered gem sits right on Brisbane’s doorstep and offers great views, a history lesson or two and plenty of adventure!

The 64km ride will take most riders the best part of the day. It will start at 9 am at Toogoolawah, after a bus transfer from Fernvale. There’ll be rest stops at Esk (after 20km), and Coominya (43 km).

This was an extremely popular event last year and numbers will again be capped at 300 riders. So sign up early to secure your spot.

The surface of the trail is rough in parts, meaning this ride is best suited to mountain bikes with tyres wider than 2 inches (50mm).

The price includes transfer for you and your bike, from Fernvale to Toogoolawah. Check-in at Fernvale Visitors Centre from 7 am.

This event is supported by Somerset Regional Council and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Users Association.
