This amazing gallery is situated at the top of the Blackbutt Range, and just two minutes from the tourist town of Blackbutt (S.E. Queensland). The gallery is set amidst five acres of glorious open paddocks with views to the Bunya Mountains, and beyond.

Back in the 1990s, Janet Skinner spent ten years traveling from one railway siding to the next carrying her easel and paints to create what is on display today.y.

The gallery houses five rooms, featuring the original railway collection (104 stations), BVRT paintings, working studio, and also her varied, latest contemporary works.

Janet Skinner has achieved a world record in art, is an author and illustrator of four books (Romance of the Rail), as well as being a designer of theatrical costumes (UK).
