Enjoy the very best that the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail has to offer. Start in Yarraman and Finish in Toogoolawah. 75 km with 30% downhill. The trial run for this event in 2018 was our most popular event ever, with 255 participants.

This event is well within the capability of most reasonably fit cyclists, but feedback from experienced MTB racers was that this event is much tougher than it appears due the the intensity of effort and sheer concentration required.

Mountain bikes or cyclocross bikes suitable for off-road cycling are mandatory. There will also be a separate e-bike category.

First second and third prizes will be $150, $100 or $75 vouchers redeemable at Ipswich Giant for any bicycle accessory supplied by them - does not have to be a Giant product and can be a telephone order. Equal prizes for men and women.

Mobile phone, adequate water, a basic first aid kit including a snake bite bandage, a spare inner tube and puncture repair kit, and basic tools are mandatory.

When we did the trial run for this event in 2018, everyone thought it was awesome.

This is the format - drive to Toogoolawah. We provide transport to Yarraman by coach and semi-trailer (bikes will be well protected) for the mass start. Ride marshals, first aiders and support vehicles will be available. There will be feed and water stops at Moore and Harlin.
