Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the invention of the bicycle with a fund-raising bike ride on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail as part of a week-long festival of cycling events based in Ipswich.

From 08.00 until 13.00

At Fernvale Futures Visitors Centre

Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the invention of the bicycle with a fund-raising bike ride on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail as part of a week-long festival of cycling events based in Ipswich.

There will be two options:

1) Starts at 8.00 a.m. Easy family ride from Fernvale to Wanora, return (14 km). Free face painting sponsored by Fernvale Produce/Mitre 10 included. Adult @ $15/$5 child under 12 @ $5

2) Starts at 8.30 a.m. More challenging bike ride from Fernvale to Esk (44 km). Free shuttle bus for people and bikes back to Fernvale included, thanks to sponsorship by Zanow Concrete and Quarries. Adult @ $30/ Child under 12 @ $10

All profits will go to support the work of the Ipswich Hospital Foundation.

Organised by the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Users Association. Sponsored by Zanow Concrete and Quarries and Fernvale Produce/Mitre 10.
